Students Visit Transit Treatment Center to Mark Wildlife Week Celebrations


As part of the ongoing Wildlife Week celebrations, a group of enthusiastic students from The Chanda Devi Saraf School (Katol Road) visited the Transit Treatment Center to learn about the importance of wildlife conservation and animal care. The visit aimed to raise awareness among young minds about the critical role that veterinary care plays in the protection of wildlife.

The students, accompanied by their teachers Mrs. Anusuya Bisht and Mr. Percy Amroliwalla were given a guided tour of the hospital's facilities by Mr. Rajesh, Mr. Kinkar. The Students had the opportunity to observe first-hand the treatment and rehabilitation of injured and rescued animals like Leopard, Sloth Bear, Jackal including various species of birds and reptiles. The veterinary team explained the importance of timely medical intervention and how injured animals are nursed back to health before being released into their natural habitats in the wild.
