There was a Cooking Competition organised with the theme of Healthy & Nutritious Cooking with Millets & Nutrella Soya Chunks on 27th Feb '24 at the CDS School Katol Road. The students had made a variety of things with Soya chunks which is a very rich form of protein. They had prepared Cutlets, Sandwiches, Rolls and Pulao which was made with soya chunks. These cullinary skills were taught to the students by Mrs. Vijayshree Naidu mam. The Chief Guest Mrs. Rasika Dhakulkar, who is a baker, home maker and she is very dedicated towards cooking and conducts cookery classes and enjoys serving people with her delicacies.
She had selected the dishes and alloted 1st prize to Sarvesha Dongre who had made Nutrella Angoori Rabri and Nutrella Momos. The second position was secured by Himanshi Ragase, who made masala rice with Nutrella and also masala soya chunks. The Consollation prize was given to Aastha Rajkarosiya who made Dry Fruit Fudge with the same ingredient. It was very difficult to identify the dishes, which were prepared with soya chunks. The chief guest was also astonished to taste such mouth watering dishes. The Director of school Nisha Saraf ma'am has always promoted the talents of students by organizing such competitions and boosting the morale of children.
